UNIDAD I.- MARCO CONCEPTUAL
1.1.- CONCEPTO E IMPORTANCIA DE LA AUDITORIA
Auditoria.- Es el proceso que efectúa un contador público independiente, al examinar
los estados financieros preparados por unaidentidad económica, para reunir
elementos de juicio suficiente, con el propósito de emitir una opinión profesional, sobre
la credibilidad de dichos estados financieros, opinión que se expresa en un documento
formal denominado dictamen.
Importancia de la Auditoria.- Es el elemento importante para la toma de decisiones
por el administrador y el inversionista para conocer la situaciónfinanciera que
administran o en la que desean invertir y tener la certeza de que tal situación
financiera corresponde a la realidad que vive en el negocio.
