CONDILOMATOSIS
Son protuberancias blandas de apariencia verrugosa en los genitales causadas por una enfermedad viral cutánea y son un tipo de enfermedad de transmisión sexual o ETS. El agente causal es el VPH, serotipos no oncogénicos 6-11.
TIPOS DE CONDILOMAS:Pueden ser de dos tipos: los condilomas acuminados (excrecencias de color piel con una superficie semejante a una coliflor) o verrugas planas que varían de tamaño (desde algunos milímetros hasta varios centímetros de diámetro).

En los hombres pueden hallarse sobre el cuerpo del pene, el meato peneano y las regiones perineales.
En las mujeres, el cérvix, el introito, los labios, la vagina y lasregiones perineales son los sitios habituales. La mayoría de las verrugas anogenitales son asintomáticas, pero en ocasiones producen prurito, ardor o dolor local.
