LA CONDUCTA AUTODESTRUCTIVA RELACIONADA CON TRASTORNOS DE PERSONALIDAD EN ADOLESCENTES MEXICANOS

Facultad de Estudios Superiores Iztacala-SUAED Resumen Un fenómeno que se observa con másfrecuencia entre los adolescentes es la conducta autodestructiva manifestada de manera física y sin intencionalidad suicida, este comportamiento ha sido estudiado por la psicología habiendo una variedad extensa en cuanto a la clasificación y formas autodestructivas. Se han realizado varias investigaciones para determinar sus causas, sin embargo, aún se desconoce la presencia de asociación entre lostrastornos de la personalidad y la conducta autodestructiva, por esta razón, el objetivo de esta investigación es realizar un análisis comparativo de la relación que existe entre la conducta autodestructiva manifestada físicamente, en una muestra de jóvenes adolescentes y las características de los rasgos de personalidad. Con la finalidad de demostrar la hipótesis planteada, se llevó a cabo un estudiodescriptivo y transversal; con una muestra de 19 estudiantes mexicanos, adolescentes de entre 12 y 14 años; a partir de la muestra se conformaron dos grupos, uno de estudio (n=11) y el segundo de control (n=8); se procedió a la

aplicación del cuestionario de personalidad CBCL 4 -18 deAchenbach, los resultados que arrojó el instrumento fueron sometidos al análisis estadístico obteniendo las medidas de tendencia central y de dispersión, una vez recabados los datos antes mencionados se aplicó la prueba T – student - Welch, (α=.05) misma que permitió conocer la existencia de diferencias significativas entre los grupos de la muestra. Los resultados “…nos ayudan a confirmar laexistencia de una asociación de algunos trastornos de personalidad con las conductas autodestructivas en ciertos niveles...” Palabras Clave: conducta autodestructiva, rasgos de personalidad, adolescencia, violencia y agresividad.

Abstract A behavior that is observed with more frequency between the adolescents is the self-destructivebehavior showed of physical way and without suicidal intentionality, this behavior has been studied by psychology having an extensive variety as for the classification and selfdestructives forms. Several investigations have been realized to determine their causes, nevertheless still does not know the presence of association between the upheavals of the personality and the self-injurious behavior,therefore, the objective of this investigation is to realize a comparative analysis of the relation that physically exists between the self-destructive behavior indicated in a sample of adolescent young people and the characteristics of the personality features. In order to demonstrate the raised hypothesis, a descriptive and cross-sectional study was carried out; with a sample of 19 Mexican,adolescent students among 12 and 14 years; from the sample two groups, the one of study (n=11) and second of control were satisfied (n=8); it was come to the application of the questionnaire of personality CBCL 4-18 of Achenbach, the results that the instrument threw were put under the statistic analysis obtaining the measures of central tendency and of dispersion, once successfully obtained the databefore mentioned the T-studentWelch test was applied, (α=.05) same that allowed to know the existence significant differences between the groups of the sample. The results help us to confirm the existence of an association between some personality disorders with self-destructive behavior at certain levels.
