PROTOCOLO NTP PARA
SINCRONIZACIÓN DE LA HORA
EN LOS ROUTERS
NTP (Network Time Protocol) es un protocolo de
Internet comúnmente llamado NTP y sirve para
sincronizar los relojes de los dispositivos enuna red,
haciendo uso de intercambio de paquetes.. Este
protocolo utiliza el algoritmo de Marzullo el cual sirve
para seleccionar fuentes de origen para la
estimación exacta del tiempo a partir de un número
determinado de fuentes de origen desordenadas,
utilizando la escala UTC (Coordinated Universal
Time).
BENEFICIOS
Los archivos log y los mensajes debug mostrarán la
fecha y horacorrectas. Esto es de suma importancia
de en las tareas de diagnóstico de fallos.
Configurar el huso horario correcto, hace posible
establecer comparaciones entre la operación de
dispositivos instalados en diferentes regiones.
Permite agendar la ejecución de comandos.

Syslog es un estándar para envío de mensajes
de registro en una red IP, permite serconfigurado para recibir y aceptar conexiones
remotas, lo que implica recibir datos y
almacenarlos de clientes externos para
centralizar servicios de logueo de aplicaciones y
dispositivos, permite clasificar y priorizar
mensajes.
Mensajes de Log
Los mensajes de Log o registro suele tener
información sobre la seguridad del sistema,
aunque pueden contener cualquier información
y junto a cadamensaje se incluye la fecha y
hora del envío.
