Concesión de Servicio Público.- Acuerdo de voluntades por el cual la administración confía a un particular,persona física o moral, la instalación, prestación y aseguramiento del un servicio público, facultándolo para que se remunere a través de las cuotas que los usuarios del servicio pagarán.
Importancia Administrativa:
Ventajas:
* Se evita al Estado fuertes desembolsos para prestar los servicios públicos.
* Al combinarse el interés público y privado se supone que el servicio debe sermejor.
Desventajas:
* En ocasiones el interés privado se sobrepone al público.
* El estado no ejerce una vigilancia efectiva sobre las concesiones.
La concesión administrativa es el acto por el cual se concede a un particular el manejo y explotación de un servicio publico o la explotación y aprovechamiento de bienes del dominio del Estado.
