CASTELLANO (4to. Año)


a) Descripción del fuego: El este comienzo de canto, Lazo Martí busca destacar que la noche metafóricamente, es algo cruel, malvada y poderosa. También con sus versos, el autor señala la terrible realidad del llano en verano, cuando  el incendio arrasador y el quemado forman parte del paisaje, el fuego es un mounstruo.
b) Actitud de la naturaleza frente alincendio: La naturaleza se hiere, se transforma en fea, y siente palidecer la vida de los seres que están en el incendio, que es un mounstruo que todo lo arrasa y mata.
c) Paisaje idílico o trágico: El paisaje llanero, lo utiliza el escritor para señalarle a su amigo las motivaciones que lo obligan tanto sólo a volver, como a desempeñar tareas sociales con la finalidad de redimir a los humildes,pobres y arruinados además de los asesinados por la guerra, los caudillos políticos y las enfermedades. También,  a través del paisaje, Lazo Martí señala el inmenso amor que le tiene al suelo venezolano, cantándole a sus grandezas, prodigios y maravillas, exaltando el suelo patrio como elemento que debiera ser mantenido en un altar, alabándolo por sus dignidades.
d) Métrica:  Todos los cantos queforman parte de la silva, son autónomos y pueden leerse independientemente de los otros, aunque es un solo poema, armonioso y que tiene su estructura unificada de manera formal y de tema. Como es una Silva, combina versos endecasílabos (11 sílabas métricas), con versos heptasílabos (de 7 sílabas métricas).
