CONSTRUCTIVISM AND SOCIAL CONSTRUCTIONISM

A work on constructivism and social constructionism leads to think directly to a subject related to philosophy or with the epistemology, since both are not exact sciences that explain behaviors of daily life. But this time I wanted to start with the example or we can call it the end of the work I am going to present also, in order to be able to get abetter understanding of the meaning of these two theories.
The example is a vessel of oil that comes from Saudi Arabia to Europe at the moment, but he is still looking for buyer. We can also imagine one of the many operations that are made in World Street every day. We can now ask ourselves why we have taken as an example a boat or the bag of the United States. But the reality is that if you lookat the example deeply we find that the boat and the bag are fiction that does not exist in reality. So what is it? And the answer is that they are no more that encoded numbers that change in value with each second that passes. For example there is a manifestation at this time in the oil companies of Saudi Arabia and the boat at that time rises 30 per cent of its value, or if the boat does notcarry materials in good oil and we realize now begins to lose value. I want to go deeper with the example of the boat. And I say to the seller that it was purchased, then I would make a bank transfer of millions of Euros, but that money exists or are just numbers that come and go and you never know the exact value they have. Because let's say that I am the seller and the buyer pass me a transfer forboat now, and I would like to draw these millions of Euros in cash, the bank tells me no, that is impossible because the first thing all that money does not exist in cash and the second because the value has already changed.
I shall now try to take these examples to an area more related to the people. And I'm going to take an example that is now in the present days, Lance Amrstrong. Can wedescribe Lance Amrstrong? We can say that this character is a model to follow since he won seven Tour de France (effort), overcame cancer in the family has good relationship with their children, his wife and other family members. But however, we can also say that it is a cheater, a bad person, a thief, and so on. Once you have done this analysis, what can we say about Lance Amrstrong? "Is it good orbad? Who is Lance Amrstrong? It is what people say without any doubt. We could also speak of a famous writer that has many awards and achievements throughout his career, and then the people said that is a very good writer because it has many awards and writes very well and the man is very interesting. But another arrives and says that this same author paid because write by him, or people can say thatit paid to the jurors to win prizes. That is why the end we wonder what is the reality and the reality according to these authors is in the power of the word. This means that people are not what they believe they are, but what people say they are.
For complete with examples and start explaining and separating the constructionism and constructivism, I have a practical example. For this examplewe have to imagine a query from a psychologist and his patient. And during the dialog that is maintained in the consultation, the patient tells the psychologist "I feel very sad, do you understand? “ The psychologist can respond to this phrase in different ways, depending on the context (the ratio, the scenery, history, story, the characters and everything else), the has different ways of reacting, you may use the coldbloodedness of a classical psichoanalitic person or the sweetness of an humanistic one. Your answer will appear similar to the way in which you perceive the world and the person. The constructivists will respond to their patient explaining the emotions and sensations outpace to extreme positions through the word, always without fail to cheer him up. They make the patient see...
