Attention,the battle for vimy ridge has ended we and the United Kingdom, and French forces have won the fight over the Germans. The bad thing is that we lost 3,598 people have died and 7,004 peoplehave been wounded. We have captured 4000 Germans, fighting to win the battle as 10,602 people entered to fight for vimy ridge. The Canadian generals, lieutenants are talking to make amonument for all of the people that have gave up their lives. Just to win the battle when you have time go there and thank them for winning the fight.
How these soldiers survived this battlewas that they had underground tunnels that had beds and would eat underground. They stayed there for a couple of days until April 9 Easter Monday, that was the day that the Germans werecoming out with full artillery on Canada and their allies which engaged Canada and their allies to start fighting with the Germans. This was going to be the day that Canada and their allieswould win this fight once and for all. The temperature on that day was snowy with some sleet. The Germans were having gas shells falling on top of them and underground mines were exploded andthat is when the shooting began to start. There were 11,000 guns on the battle field, thousands of Germans were killed and thousands were captured.
The monument is going located in Franceover looking Douai Plain which is the highest point in vimy ridge. This monument is going to have all of the people’s names that not just died at war but that served their country in the 4hard years of fighting. On this monument there are 60 thousand people that died in the whole battle. There are going to be 11,285 Canadians on that monument that’s body’s were not found.
