E6524 MAN VariChain, Mounting instructions - preliminaray The E6524 MAN VariChain is dedicated for the use within the d&b Transformer and Installer Flying Systems to aim C3/C4 cabinetsat an precise vertical splay angle between 0° and 5°. Safety precautions

Installation should only be carried out by fully trained personel. There are certain rules forinstallation that must be complied with. Load safety informations
WARNING!
The maximum permitted safety working load (SWL) is 600 kg/1322 lb. Assembly The desired vertical splay anglecan be set by turning the barrel adjuster [A]. Turning clockwise the angle will be increasing, turning counter clockwise the angle will be decreasing. After a full rotation the adjusterwill be noticeable and audible locked to the related position. − Before attaching the chain to the D-rings (Studs) at the cabinets, first turn the barrel adjuster clock wise to themaximum length of the chain. − Attache the chain with the barrel adjuster upwards [Fig. 1] to the D-rings at the cabinets. − Set the desired angle before lifting the cabinets by turning thebarrel adjuster counter clockwise to the lock position needed for the desired angle as shown in the table below.

*Note: The angles related to the lock position of the barrel adjuster are roughly values while the TransCalc and InstallCalc calculates withthe exat values. Therefore every C3/C4 array should be planed using TransCalc or InstallCalc. Type approoval according to BGV C1 The E6524 type approoval according to BGV C1 is inprogress.
