Durante la gestión 2008, los recién nacidos de tipo prematuro extremo, con peso ≤ 1000gr constituyeron un7.2%(35), del tipo Prematuro con peso entre 1000 – 2000grs, con un 47.3% (229),
los recién nacidos prematuros con peso 2000 – 3000 grs alcanzaron un 34% (165), los recién nacidos de termino, conpeso 3000 y ≥ 3500grs. Con un 11.3% (55).
