Active voice
In active sentences are interested in who performs the action on thesubject:
Peter will finish His new book in three months.
Passive voice
In the passive voice are more interested in action than one who does:
His new book will be finished in three months.Form
BE + past participle (main verb active)
How to transform an active sentence in the passive:
1. We as a subject of the passive sentence the direct object of the sentence
active.
2. Addthe verb BE in the same time it is the main verb
active prayer.
3. We spent the active subject of the sentence at the end of the passive sentence, preceded by
BY.
Use
- When not know the agentor not very important:
Cotton is grown in Andújar.
- When we are interested in action and not in the subject:

- Intransitive verbs (which have no directobject), such as like, die,

- He Was Shot (by the robbers) WITH a gun.
