Introduction
This project is about the Costa Rica country. Costa Rica was located in South America. Here you can find information related about the geography, history and important facts. CostaRica has the most natural areas with native plants and animals. All the year Costa Rica has a good climate to visit. I invite to read this project and know how interesting Costa Rica is.


 Costa Rica Information 
Costa Rica is a country in Central America, bordered by Nicaragua to the north, Panama to the southeast, the Pacific Ocean to the west and the Caribbean Sea to theeast. Costa Rica means “Rich Coast”. It is the only Latin American country included in the list of the world’s 22 older democracies. In 2007, the Costa Rican government announced plans for became thecountry to the first carbon-neutral. The capitalof Costa Rica is San Jose.
In 1970 Costa Rica was described as “the poorest and most miserable Spanish colony in all American. Another importantfactor behind Costa Rica’s poverty was the lack of a significant indigenous population available for Encomienda (forced labor), which meant most of the Costa Rica settlers had to work on their own land,preventing the establishment of large haciendas. Costa Rica doesn’t have an real independence. They celebrate the date of September 15, 1821, that was the date of the independence of all CentralAmerica. Coffee was first planted in Costa Rica in the early 19th Century, and was shipped to Europe in 1843. Soon Costa Rica was the most important exported.
