Is it better to live in a city or not?

Life in the countryside and the city has so many pros and cons. Usually people think that the city is better than the country, but there are many aspects tobe evaluated to see which is better. The city itself has features that significantly raise the quality of life, but the country guarantees a healthy and peaceful life. The following are some of theadvantages and disadvantages that characterize both places.

First I will point out the advantages and disadvantages of living in a city. If you look at life in the city, it is easy to realize themany advantages of life there. Perhaps the most important is the high level of technological development that the city has. An example of this are the large buildings and structures, such as hospitals,businesses, schools, universities and homes, spread throughout the city. As a result, all services are within reach of everyone, and do not need to travel long distances, for example, to get to thedoctor.

Another advantage of living in the city is the fact that much of the economic activity is concentrated there, and for that reason, it is a better place to do bussiness. One reason for this isthat all the banks and the vast majority of shopping centers are located in urban areas because more people live there than in the country, and there is more people who can buy things.

But life inthe city is not perfect. On the contrary, it has disadvantages too dangerous for human health. The first and, probably the most important one is the big problem of the pollution. The pollution ismainly produced by the big companies that release a large amount of toxic waste into the air and the sea. This waste could be dangerous for the people´s health, such as increasing the likelihood ofsuffering lung problems or to other parts of the body like the hearth.
