Introduction

In its simplest form, a computer system has a unit that executes program instructions. This unit communicates with other subsystems withinthe computer and controls its operation. The function of the unit is known as central processing unit or CPU. Once the RAM is where the computer stores the data that is used in the present moment. Storage is considered temporary because the data and programs remain there while the computer is on or is rebooted.

Central Processing Unit (CPU)

The CPU is the computer's brain, is where thecalculations take decisions, interprets and executes instructions..
The CPU is the most important element of a computer system. To carry out this transformation, the computer uses two components: the processor and memory. Almost always consists of several integrated circuits or chips, they are inserted into circuit boards, rigid rectangular circuit modules that connect to other chips and othercircuit boards.

Function

Components

CONTROL UNIT (The unit that will decide control).The control unit is the real brain that controls and coordinates the operation of the computer.
