“The Life of fish” is a Chilean movie that was filmed in 2010. That film talks about a topic so simple, but the director Matias Bize transform this topic in a wonderful story of love. This startwhen Andres (the main character played by Santiago Cabrera) came back from Berlon to Chile to solve the problems that he leave in the past. He was traveled to Berlin ten years ago; and He promissed tohis old girlfriend that this trip would last only three mnonths; and when he came back (than this three months) they would meet. He said the name of the place, the hour, the date, everything. But hedidn’t came back. Beatriz (played by Blanca Lewin), that was his girlfriend, start her life again, but she can’t forgive Andres. Andres in Berlin developed his life but he known that he had to comeback to Chile; his story with Beatriz couldn’t finish of this form.
The Director Matiaz Bize is knowed beacuse he works almost always with Julio Rojas ( He created the story about La vida de lospeces, and help always to develop the stories of their different movies). Julio Rojas is a great scrptwriter, the mix Bize-Rojas always give wonderlful results, like in another films for example: Thefilm “Sabado” or “En la cama” so successfuls Chilean movies.
In the case of “The Life of fish”; Matias Bize toether his team wons awards like “Goya 2010”; to the best movie of spanish speaking, and the“Colon de oro” to the best script of movie in 2010.
