After Liverpool Assignment
Who is present?
- My character is a man who thinks that he has not spent enough time with his wife and when he is around her, he tries to satisfy and make herfeel comfortable as much as possible.
- My character’s name is Eric Giancarlo, he is a wealthy entrepreneur, he is thirty nine years old and his parents are from Cuba.
- Eric is thehusband of my partner’s character
When is it happening?
- The scene is set in the Social Age (2004 – present)
- The scene takes place in the morning when the couple is getting ready forwork.
- The scene kind of shows urgency because Eric and his wife do not have much time to talk about their eventual date and they need to take a decision on going to the cinema or not.
Whereis it happening?
- The scene takes place at home, which indicates that the characters are able to show their true feelings and thoughts; they are indoors in a warm space, the kitchen, which isnot a threatening place at all. The place that the couple is having the conversation does not have any special significance for neither of them.
What is happening?
- Eric is going to betrying to talk to his wife while she acts uninterested in whatever he says and she always looks for something to do that can help her avoid the conversation with her husband. She talks to Eric but alsoshows lack of interest in the topic. In the scene I want to show the audience how Eric does not want to go the cinema, he only wants to spend some special time with his wife and I want them to notice aswell how his wife rejects him indirectly.
What has happened/what might happen next?
- Eric starts the conversation asking his wife if she would like to go to the cinema, not because hewants; he just thinks that his wife might like to go because if we look at the last line when the woman says “So. We’re in for another jolly evening at home, are we?” it indicates us that the couple does...
