Gustavo Cerati


was born on August 11, 1960 in Buenos Aires. At age nine he began studying guitar at twelve formed a trio which was presented in private parties, participated in the events thatwere held in a religious school who was attending, and came to lead the church choir .

He studied advertising at the University of Salvador, where in 1982 he met Zeta Bosio. Later, thanks to acontact made by his sister, Gustavo Cerati and Zeta Bosio met his colleague Charly Alberti. The trio formed the band Soda Stereo.
A year later the three began playing in bars and rock circuit ofBuenos Aires. In early 1984, and were familiar figures on the rock circuit and before releasing their first album and songs played on the radio in Buenos Aires.

At the height of Soda Stereo, Ceratiencouraged some independent projects simultaneously, and then edit 14 albums split amicably. Before leaving they made a world tour that included Mexico, Venezuela and Chile. Completed the journey in theRiver Plate stadium in Buenos Aires.

But before disbanding in 1993 Cerati debut as soloist with the album "Love yellow." At first blush, this is an eclectic album with equidistant limits on noiseand heat gently technodélico. It could even think of "saints Colors" (1992), the album signed by Cerati in partnership with Daniel Melero, as the timid outline of the past now intent on clean sound.Cerati joined three Chilean amateur musicians (Andrés Bucci, Guillermo Ugarte and Christian Powditch), constituting Plan V, electronic project that is reflected in two albums: "Plan V" (1996),trans-Andean origin, and the second job "Plan V Black Dog", which was shared with the English Black Dog, and published in 1998.
After the dissolution of Soda, in 1997, both Cerati and Bosio andAlberti were temporarily away from the stage, but in mid-1999 Cerati presented "Puff", his next solo LP. This material was partially recorded at Abbey Road in London and was attended by Flavio Etcheto on...
