Fidel Castro was born in August 13, 1927 in Mayari. The son of a wealthy landowner. Fidel Castro Ruz grew up in a privileged environment. The father as a child instilled anappreciation for the unfortunate situation. Fidel and his younger brother committed from small to improve the conditions of the Cuban deleted. But they took different paths. His brother Raul Castro was aCommunist. Had attended a communist youth camp in central Europe in the 50's. Fidel graduated from law at the University of The Habana in 1951. Fidel joined ‘El Partido Orthodox’, a conventionalpolitical organization. When Fulgencio Batista took power in 1992, Castro thought that an armed revolt would be the only way to restore national pride and basic human rights.In June 1953 Fidel command at125 in an attack on a Cuban army barracks. Most of his group of men died. Fidel was captured and sentenced to 15 years in prison. The date of the rebel attack on July 26 became a holy day of therevolution and is still celebrated as a holiday in Cuba. In May 1955, Batista gave in to popular pressure freedom of Fidel Castro. Fidel traveled to Mexico to escape the fury of Batista. During his exilelife in Cuba was worse for those who opposed the dictator. Anyone who opposed him most of the time was abducted and killed. Baptista had become the puppet rich American business. In 1958 the UnitedStates had much of the Cuban industry and was the main purchaser of the product most imported from Cuba, sugar. Fidel Castro to know that he felt he could no longer stand by while Cuba wasincreasingly subject to U.S. interests. Raul Castro and other revolutionary idealists joined Fidel in Mexico. Castro and a group of 82 men left departed from Mexico to Cuba in December 1956 to resume thestruggle of the Revolution. Mexican authorities informed Cuba of the game. When the rebels arrived on the island, 4 days after they were attacked by the Cuban army awaiting them, only 16 of the 82 rebels...
