Cultural Literacy
We known that Arab customs differ significantly to the western side. Now will meet some of these characteristics that make it unique worldwide.
Although Arabs hardly angry if wedo not know their customs, we know better than to develop us as best as we travel to their countries.
The most common greeting is Ahlan wa sahlan which means receiving, this is useful tolearn for when we visit the United Arab Emirates. Trying to learn the language will cause a good impression. But the use must be with respect because it was designed for the word of God.
If you gave agood impression talking to the Arabs. They manifest the good impression giving a prolonged handshake.
Impolite
Is recommended to respect the key dates, the time of prayers and Islamic holidaysespecially Ramadan, local people are very tolerant as regards Western tourists and show a real appreciation for everything related to Europe.
If you travel to the United Arab Emirates during the month of Ramadan, becareful. Eating in public in the daytime can cost you more money than you expected. You can even be put in jail.
Some beaches do not allow access to women and also other special beaches  for tourists feel more uninhibited when sunbathing.
Taboo
The consumption of alcoholic beverages is limited, because are an Islamic states, and consumption is restricted only in hotels, and not allowed thesale of alcoholic beverages outside the resorts, except in Dubai where you can request a permit to purchase alcoholic beverages at City Hall but only if you are male… because the freedom of the women is ataboo as a alcohol or eat pig.
if you are a tourist, you'll miss the alcohol, the pig and the freedom of women
