Job Description: Editorial Internship
Editorial candidates should come with a strong interest in the written word, while being persistent in their research skills and their ability to weedout any factual, spelling or grammatical errors. Knowledge in Canadian fashion, design, décor, pop culture and current events will help interns when they have the opportunity to pitch story ideas,conduct interviews and write articles for the magazine.

Photo Internship
Photo candidates will have an eye for unique and compelling images and the ability to create them. Interns should be able tophotograph anything from a portrait, to interiors, to a still life. Knowledge of modern lighting techniques – including in-studio and on-location – will help interns as they assist during themagazine’s photo shoots. Other tasks include staying organized while managing image libraries and conducting research.

Video Internship
Video / Broadcast candidates should bring a keen sense forcapturing interesting visual stories. Attending many of the magazine’s events and photo shoots, interns will be responsible for recording behind-the-scenes videos that give a sense of everything that happensbehind the photographer’s camera. There will also opportunity to pitch, film, and edit stories that will be featured as part of the online content on chloemagazine.ca. Interns must have access totheir own video and editing equipment.

Online Internship
Online candidates should be up-to-date on all the technologies of social media, blogging and the web. By producing online content forchloemagazine.ca, interns will frequently be working within Facebook, Twitter, Vimeo and Flickr to maintain the online social presence of the magazine.
