The internet has become indispensable for many people. Everyone with internet can access to different websites to find general information, watch movies or listen music.Nowadays, a website that is becoming more popular all over the world is facebook. This website has many applications like messages, video calls and games. It caused that people have contact withothers easily. However, it has also created problems, one of the most serious is the cyberbullying.

The cyberbullying involves the use of websites to intimidate people. Intimidate meansthat someone can write lies about another person or annoys with constants messages. This is a recent concern because websites like facebook allow this easier to do. For instance, when someoneaccepts a new friend on facebook, people do not really know if the profiles are fake or not, and this is how the cyberbullying can start. However, many people do not know anything aboutcyberbullying, they only know the benefits of facebook.

Possibly, the most obvious benefit of facebook is the communication. People can contact friends from anywhere in the world. Moreover,students can create a group for studying, sharing and sending information. Another good point of facebook is that it is free. However, people have to give personal information like email and name toaccess and create a facebook’s account.

Few people have been victims of cyberbullying, for this reason everyone continues using facebook. In addition, facebook gives people the possibilityto choose their friends, and who can see their photos and information. Users can block specific people, for example, a bad person who writes them all the time. Moreover, users can report thesetypes of people.

Facebook is very useful, although cyberbullying is a serious concern, this is not common. As a consequence, this drawback of facebook does not outweigh the benefits.
