U.S. Propaganda WWII
In every war, propaganda is essential. While World War II (WWII) is best known German and Sovietpropaganda, Americans show greater eloquence and wit.
While German propaganda focused on the purity of race and the new Reich, and Russian propaganda in the Patriotic War and the homeland of theproletariat, the U.S. tried to capture the attention of a people who did not really know why that war.
War propaganda during World War II intensified perhaps the greatest heights of history. while theAllies and the Axis were preparing for war, both sides needed to motivate the population and thus increase production. United States, had just come out of depression, stuck to its isolationist policy.Most citizens, especially those who remembered the First World War, believed to be involved in a war was costly and expensive that it was not a good decision for the United States. Most peoplethought that the beginning of the war in Europe and Asia was far from them and their lives in America.

Most believed that resources of the United States were to be used to rebuild the country followingthe depression, and not a foreign war, the causes that did not concern them. The U.S. government eventually acknowledged that the United States would participate, whether in Europe, East Asia
Thegovernment launched a propaganda campaign to convince the American public that the war was necessary and implement greater production. Efforts were made to convince the public that the immediate dangerwas in America for the Axis powers. However, after the attack on Pearl Harbor, the stimulus was no longer necessary, since the public now clearly perceived enemy threat.
Conclusions
After PearlHarbor, propaganda turned to increase production and conservation of materials for the war effort. it urged Americans to help conserve materials, such as gasoline and to assist in increasing energy...
