1. Choose from one of the following ballets:  La Sylphide, Giselle, Coppélia, Swan Lake
2. Search the internet for written descriptions of the ballet AND video clips.  Be aware that you may find several video versions performed by many different ballet companies.
3. After reading about the ballet and viewing video clips, give a brief plot summary of the ballet in your own words.  (Do not copyand paste from other sources.) Be creative and write as if you are summarizing the story verbally to a friend.  The reader should be able to get a clear picture of the storyline from your writing.  The plot summary should be 1 paragraph of 6-7 sentences.
4. For a second paragraph, discuss the performance of the ballet.  You can discuss one video clip or several different versions.  Includedescriptions of the music, costuming, and set design.  Once again, give the reader a visual picture and discuss the ballet as if you are describing it to a friend.
5. Finally, list the direct links to the websites that you used for your research
The ballet that I chose is Giselle.
Giselle is a peasant girl who falls in love with Loys ( a noble name Albrecht in disguise as a village boy) .
Hilarion iswoodman who is also in love with Giselle but she doesn’t return his love. When a hunting company come to her village and she meets Bethilde (the daughter of a noble man) Albrecht’s deception is discovered by Hilarion.
. Giselle dies of a heart attack ( but some versions says that she kills her self with Albrecht’s dagger) and becomes a wili.
A wili is the spirit of a girl who dies a virgin( before being married) and any man who crosses her path is condemned to die.
At night, in the cemetery Giselle is welcome by the mother of the wilis accepted as one of them.
Moments later Hilarion comes and mourns her death, the wilis appear to him and chases him until he is dead.
Albrecht also comes to the cemetery to mourn Giselle and encounters the wilis, but Giselle helps him by dancingwith him until dawn; the play ends.

The scene is the end of the first act when Giselle turns crazy after Hilarion desenmascara a Albrecht. The escene start in the middle of the village where Giselle and Albercht are dancing celebrating the harvest, they are rodeados de los aldeanos y la madre de Giselle. Hilarion interrumpe y los separa. Hilarion runs to a house andbrings a horn and a spade. Buscando una explicación Giselle with hand gestures seems to show her a engagedment ring to Bethilde but Bethilde also shows her her ring.Giselle se devuelve a Albercht looking for his support, I think that she is looking for him to choose her, but Abercht turns his head. Giselle entonces se desespera y se quita el necklace que Bethilde le había regalado. Se cae y al levantarse parece fuera de si, corta una flor con gestos and she does “he loves me , he loves me not” con los petalos. Todos en la aldea están confundidos y Albercht...
