UK HOUSEWORK SURVEY THERESULTS
Housework. Don’t you just hate it? the problem is that somebody has to do it! What housework do you have to do? Do you do more or less than your friends? and do you think that you do yourfair share?
in a UK household survey, thousands of teens at schools around the country answered questions about housework. The answers showed that the majority of us have to make our beds and tidyour rooms. Also, about half of us lay the table and washing-up only one in five of us helps cook meals.
in general, it’s clear that we‘re less lazy than our parents sometimes think. But it‘s alsoclear that girls do much more hosework than boys. We do more ironing that bpys, for example. And while twelve percent of boys don’t have to help around the house, that’s true for just four per cent ofgirls.
this situation is sad, but it isn’t really surprising. It’s a fact that women do more housework than men. but the future’s in our hands! Are we going copy our parents, or are we going to makethe world a fairer place?

en general, está claro que estamos a menos vago que nuestros padres a veces piensan. pero también es claro que las niñas hacen mucho...
