Denounce Migrants To Two Officers Of The Inm For Theft

Jesus Maria Peters / correspondent | El Universal 21:55Two officers of the National Migration Institute (INM) - a man and a woman--were reported with the appropriate authorities after stripping of cash tothree migrants in a combi from the public service in section 131 of the road Pijijiapán-Tonala, on the isthmus-coast of Chiapas region.
According to the complaint of the Director's attention to theHuman rights of the State Council, Rafael Nava, the facts occurred on Friday at 18: 00 hours, when migration agents of a carriage mounted on the highway about 240 kilometers from the border withGuatemala, practiced immigration inspection units of public transport passengers.
He added that INM agents commissioned at the immigration booth "Echegaray" began to "bolsear passengers" which detected theywere foreigners and a group of three Hondurans stripped them of their portfolios, without realizing that they were photographed and filmed by some people.
The "paperless" were secured and sent tothe immigration station "21st century" for their corresponding repatriation.
With the testimonies and photographs filed complaint against officials of the National Institute for migration whosedelegate in Chiapas is Mercedes Gómez Mont Urueta, whom various sectors accused of exceeding his public duties, and not addressing the fundamental rights of immigrants.
