Explanation of Deploying Edge Lync Server 2010 standard edition. In my basic deployment, the configuration is simple. As you can see, the director server is exist in the setup. In Edge Server, there are multiple network interface cards: In Edge Server: Internal IP Address and FQDN : 10.78.1.103 (edge.netoverme.info) External IP Address and FQDN: 192.168.1.101 (access.netoverme.info) 192.168.1.102 (webcon.netoverme.info) 192.168.1.103 (av.netoverme.info) *For external FQDN, I used public DNS that I subscribe andcreate the host record and SRV record.
Furthermore, in Edge server, it is a standalone workgroup server (which is not joining to the domain). I only add the primary DNS Suffix in the Computer Name Properties.
