Synchronized swimming (often abbreviated to Synchro) is a hybrid form of swimming[->0], dance and gymnastics, consisting of swimmers (either solos, duets, trios, or teams) performing a synchronizedroutine of elaborate moves in the water, accompanied by music. Synchronized swimming demands advanced water skills, and requires great strength, endurance, flexibility, grace, artistry and precisetiming, as well as exceptional breath control when upside down underwater.

Seattle Synchronized Swim Team is the most successful club in the Pacific Northwest. We provide programs for beginners up tothe elite level with practices on the Eastside.
Synchronized swimming[->1] (water ballet) is an Olympic sport[->2] that combines the grace of ballet, the agility of gymnastics, and the athleticism ofswimming. We coach recreational teams and competitive teams.

On April22nd, 2012 from 3-4:30 pm at Juanita High School Pool we are having our annual Celebration Swim, the second of our fund raising events in the year.
This show, meant to celebrate our swimmers´ workand to acknowledge their commitment and the coaches´, is a fun event that we want to open to the community, the families and the friends of Seattle Synchro Swim Team. Novice, Intermediate, Age Group,and Junior swimmers and their families are expected to participate in this event. Sea Stars are welcomed to attend the event and tell their friends about it.
The swim program will be coordinated byLacey as Head Coach and the other coaches.
There will be a raffle and a silent auction to raise some funds to be able to continue our endeavor next year along with food and drink after the show so wecan have some fun with the girls and the friends and family that come to join in.
