Good morning ladies and gentleman, I came here to talk about sports. I selected specially this topic because it’s very interesting how the mind plays in it. It is verydifferent to math tests, for example, because in sports passion has a funny way to play. In a match, you may not be the favorite one, people may talk bad about you, and may bet on you losing. But, whenthe whistle blows and the clocks start ticking, all bets are off. So, if someone decides to change the score and win the match, don´t be surprised.

In all matches we can find a fight, not with anopponent but with second place. I don´t know you but I, personally, hate second place. I hate when someone tells me "you gave the best you got, best luck next time”. But maybe this doesn´t bother. Maybeyou like to fail. If not ask the Leonas how they felt when they came up second, not so good. I am telling you this because in life there are not second chances. There's only this moment and the nextmoment. Some people say "It’s not whether you win or lose, it’s how you play the game". I assure you, who ever said that, lost the game. So when you see a chance, go for it, come in first, and seizethat moment. If you can win, WIN. I know that fear will be grand. But the only one that can make you BE history, is you. It is always a fight FROM you: you versus the other team; you versus fail; youversus next time; you versus excuses; you versus “no”; you versus history; you versus second place. It´s you versus you.

The purpose of all the games is to WIN, and the only one that is going towin is the one that is willing to die for it. In that way it is very similar to life, because the margin for error is too small. And those inches we need to have are everywhere around us, every second.Because, if we fight to get those inches, when we some up all of them there is going to be a big difference.
