Derechos humanos
The universal declaration of the human rights was signed in 1948 and states all the rights of the human beings. It’s very clear and not exposed to misinterpretations: everyone has the right to live in freedom and to express his own opinions, his thought, his religious faith, his political view. Everyone has the right to improve, with a safe and equally salaried work, his proper life conditions and of his family. Nobody can be outcast from the society for his different skin color or religious faith or because has been infected by a very contagious illness. Finally, everyone has the right to live in a world without wars or economic and social inequalities. Furthermore, the government must grant the medical assistance and the social security to the citizens with taxes proportioned to their incomes. These and others are the rights recognized by the Italian Constitution who dedicates several articles to the recognition of individual freedoms (freedom of speech, writing, religious faith, meeting, habitation, moving) and confirms the equality of all the persons under the law without any distinction of gender, race, language, religion and political views. The right to work and other social rights are recognized since the first article of the Constitution who states that “Italy is a republic founded on work”. It’s very relevant the task of the Italian government to protect the citizen’s health with the illness prevention and the environment protection. The right to study is also very important and it can be achieved with the public instruction and also with the private one but without any charge for the government. The government must grant safety for the citizen, fighting against all the crime organizations (mafia, camorra, ‘ndrangheta), the daily crime and the internal or international terrorism.
