Neoliberalism.
"Neo-liberalism is a set of economic policies that have become widespread during the last 25 years or so. Although the word is rarely heard in the United States, you can clearly see the effects of neo-liberalism here as the rich grow richer and the poor grow poorer.”
"Liberalism" can refer to political, economic, or even religious ideas. In the U.S. political liberalism has beena strategy to prevent social conflict. It is presented to poor and working people as progressive compared to conservative or Rightwing. Economic liberalism is different. Conservative politicians who say they hate "liberals" -- meaning the political type -- have no real problem with economic liberalism, including neoliberalism.
A memorable definition of this process came from Subcomandante Marcosat the Zapatista-sponsored Encuentro Intercontinental por la Humanidad y contra el Neo-liberalismo (Inter-continental Encounter for Humanity and Against Neo-liberalism) of August 1996 in Chiapas when he said: "what the Right offers is to turn the world into one big mall where they can buy Indians here, women there ...." and he might have added, children, immigrants, workers or even a whole countrylike Mexico."
The main important points of neo-liberalism include:
* The rule of market: which means that make all companies from the government and let the private sector get involved.
* Cutting social expenditures for social services: which measn to reduce the cost of social services in order to reduce the gpvenremtn role and let the private sector get involved.
*Deregulation: which means that reduce all the participation of the government that could diminish profits.
* Privatization: sell all the state-owned enterprises, goods and services to private investors.
* Eliminate the concept of public good or community:  Pressuring the poorest people in a society to find solutions to their lack of health care, education and social security all bythemselves -- then blaming them, if they fail, as "lazy."

Miguel de la Madrid Hurtado
* Background.
He was a lawyer, economist and Mexican politics. He was born in December 12, 1934. He was a president of México for the period of December 1, 1982 to December 1, 1988. His father was Miguel de la Madrid Castro, and his mother was Mrs. Alicia Hurtado de la Madrid, how came to mexico city after herwife died, so she was in charge of Miguel de la Madrid and his sister Alicia. His ancestors have been made some activities in the army, public service, and advocacy.
At the age of 18, he studied at the faculty of law in the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM). In 1957, he finished the degree of lawyer, and his thesis was about the economic dimension of the constitution of 1817. Histhesis won an honorific academic mention in his final exam.
In this year he got married with Paloma Cordero Tapia, she was from Mexico, D.F. and he had 5 children: Margarita, Miguel, Enrique, Federico and Gerardo.

* Years before the Presidency.
At the same year that he finished his studies, he had his first job at the legal department of National Bank of External Trade (Banco Nacional deComercio Exterior, BANCOMEXT), he wanted to acquire professional experience and also contribute his family. Lately, in 1959 he started to teach at the faculty of law in the UNAM, but, in 1960, he was hired as a financial management consultant by the Central Bank of Mexico (Banco Central de Mexico).
In 1963, when Adolfo Lopez Mateos was the president of the republic, he registered in the PRI (PartidoRevolucionario Institucional), this, was because, he has the aspirations to manage the federal finances. So in 1964, BANXICO gave him a scholarship to study a master’s degree of Public Management in the University of Harvard.
