Desuggestopedia.

The "suggestibility" is an independent personality of intelligence based on the type of suggestions received will be encouraged or discouraged a humanbeing. The suggestions are negative and decrease inhibitions source of the actual capacity of the individual, but helping him to become free of the limitations suggested by theenvironment since childhood, are achieved great improvements in personality and behavior and also significantly elevated levels learning.
This is an affective-humanisticapproach, an approach in which there is respect for students´feelings. The originator of this method is Georgi Lozanov who thinks that we fear that we will be unable toperform, that we will be limited in our ability to learn, that we will fail. We usually don not use the full mental powers that we have. It´s supposed we may be using only five toten percent of our mental capacity.
We have need to be “desuggested”.
Desuggestopedia, the application of the study of suggestion to pedagogy, has been developed to helpstudents eliminate the feeling that they can not be successful or the negative association they may have toward studying and, thus, to help them overcome the barriers tolearning.
One of the ways the students´mental reserves are stimulated is through integration of the fine arts.
The teacher has to know how to be a good teacher because of all thevarieties he can find in his/her students. He must have the knowledge about feelings, culture, language, etc.
This method allows students to be more expressive and surerthemselves.
