FLOODING IN QUITO
Flooding in the city of Quito occur for various reasons and the maincause of flooding is greater blame the man because we have ourselves to blame for being very unstable climate of our city, a major cause of innundaciones are because people in our city we have a littleconsideration for education nor us to throw garbage on the streets of the city are putting at risk the lives of many people since the fall of heavy rains the streets of Quito arrive to flooding untilthe homes of several people and also endanger their lives also causing several damages in every home and that is why in times of rain the people responsible for safeguarding the lives of others cannot build houses near nor rivers on the slopes of a hill or mountain.
CONSEQUENCES OF FLOODING

-Drag solids.
-Large areas covered by water.
-Intense erosion.
Nonproliferation of microorganisms.-Damaged homes.
-Disruption of communication channels.
-Loss of lives.
-Loss of crops.
-Sediment tank.

PREVENTIONS

-Heavy rains are anatural warning of possible flooding.
-Avoid building near rivers and streams.
-Keep an emergency supply: water and nonperishable food, a change of clothes and shoes, a blanket, a first aid kit,portable radio, flashlight with batteries, matches, copies of documents and personal identification housing.
-Get involved in your community in the preparation of a mitigation plan: This plan shouldinclude a risk with evacuation routes, shelter sites and an inventory of human and material resources of the neighborhood.
