DIET
A diet is the amount of food that is provided to an organism in a 24 hour period, regardless of whether or not it covers your maintenance needs, in short is the set of nutrients that areabsorbed after the habitual consumption of food. Popularly, and in the case of humans, diet is erroneously associated with the practice of restricting food intake to get only the nutrients and energyneeded, and achieve or maintain certain body weight. The human diet is considered balanced if it provides nutrients and energy in such quantities that allow maintaining the functions of the organism in acontext of physical health and mental.1 this balanced diet is particular to every individual and adapts to their sex, age, weight, and health situation. However, there are various factors (social,geographical, economic, pathological, etc.) that influence the balance of the diet. Diets, are used for the treatment and prevention of various diseases (dietotherapy) and to adapt the power to differentphysiological situations.
They are our allies to lose weight. Our enemy when we abuse them or not is not possible to do them well. The word 'diet', evolved from the ancient Greek word: dayta, whichmeans 'regime of life'. Currently we assume it as a synonym for diet, which refers to 'set, combination and quantities of food consumed regularly'. Diets can also make reference to the regime that, incertain circumstances, made people sick, convalescent, and healthy lifestyle: eat, drink, sleep and your leisure.











Una dieta es la cantidad de alimento que se le proporciona a un organismo enun periodo de 24 horas, sin importar si cubre o no sus necesidades de mantenimiento, en resumen es el conjunto de nutrientes que se absorben luego del consumo habitual de alimentos.
