Different types of rooms in the hotel industry
Single Room 

A "Single Room" refers to a room that can accommodate only one guest at a time. "Single" also refers to those rooms that have onedouble bed. So, a traveler or vacationer who comes alone can book a Single Room since it provides accommodation for one person. It is mostly those business travelers that take up Single Rooms. 

DoubleRoom 

A "Double Room" refers to a room that can accommodate two guests at a time. "Double" also refers to those rooms that have two double beds. These types of rooms are for those travelers who comein pairs. Newly married couples and lovers are the main guests for these types of rooms. 

 Queen Bed Room 

A "Queen Bed Room" is a room that has one Queen Sized Bed. Queen Sized Beds are largerthan Double Beds, and hence provides more space for those who sleep in it. These types of rooms are a favorite among the couples. 

King Bed Room 

A "King Bed Room" is a room that has one KingSized Bed. King Sized Beds are the largest of all. This bed is believed to be the most comfortable for adults. Hence, this is what most couples, including newly weds go for during their honeymoons andgetaways. 

Triple room

It's a hotel room size for families or small travelling groups that wish to stay together in one room. Typical arrangements are one double-size bed and one single for theformer, and three single beds for the latter.

Suites
Suites are small apartments that accommodate families or large parties. There are several types of suites, including super suites, standardsuites and junior suites. Super suites are also called luxurious suites, president suites and executive suites. They are typically the most opulent room in a hotel. Standard suites are small sizedapartments that range in size between 92 and 131 square feet. They are equipped with standard amenities, including high-speed Internet, television and telephone.
