Competitivity attacks

To what extent the competitivity in work in USA affect people? We often see that people work as much as they can to reach a job without caring other aspects oftheir life or even their health. In this composition I discuss how much competitivity can be hurtful or not to people’s life.
As far as health is concerned, people work too much to keep their jobsbecause many people behind them are in competition to win this place and some days they can not eat or be careful of their health. This creates many diseases on these people because they try to advancetheir work. As a support of this idea, nowadays more than 8 million Americans have an eating disorder. However, if they do not work this much, they can loose their jobs and suffer from hunger and muchmore diseases than if they have their work.
From a psychological standpoint, most people in USA have a work that last more than 8 hours and some work 6 to 7 days per week and do not have any time tospend with their families or have fun with their friends. This isolation from a relaxed and happy environment can create mental illness and other many psychological issues. To further prove thispoint, 1 on 5 Americans suffers a mental illness. Nevertheless, people today need to work as much as it is possible because they need their work and salary for food and living.
Considering the socialaspect, competitivity in work can affect many social structures and levels between people because they are in a continuous fight for a place in the society. The competitivity creates a disorder in thesocial structure because the loose of jobs and the growth or decrease of status in many people can affect it and create a chaos. Furthermore, the economic crisis has grown the low social classes anddecreases the higher because of the unemployment. As an evidence of this point, more than 12% are unemployed in USA.
