Golf, as you all may already know, is a very well known sport all over the world. Let me ask you something, are you by any chance thinking, “of course I know the sport, its boring, how can you like asport where you have to hit a ball into a tiny hole really far away and in which there is no interaction between the players, nothing exciting or amazing happens”. Yes I know exactly what you’rethinking, but you are absolutely wrong.

Golf, is in my opinion, by far the greatest sport ever invented by mankind. Why do I think this way? Because Golf, is the only sport that challenges body,mind and soul. Of course it’s not a sport to compete against other players or even against the course, it’s a game that challenges you individually, something that can be ever harder.

Manypeople think golf is easy and effortless. Try going to a golf course and after many frustrating swings; you’ll barely hit the ball. In golf if you don’t have that… gift, that… talent, you can say goodbyeand try something easier like, soccer or basketball. But if you have it, if you have that ability, believe me, once you try it, you’re going to like it so much, you’ll be on the course in no time.I started playing golf at a very short age. Even then, when I was about to score a birdie or if I got really lucky an eagle, I could feel the rush, the blood pumping through my arms as I grabbeda hold of the club I was going to hit with. In golf, the difference between an enormous feeling of accomplishment and a feeling of hopelessness and despair can be an inch, a tiny bit too fast or tooslow, looking up too soon, or twisting the wrist a little too late.

There’s this beyond comparison feeling when you see the ball rolling towards the hole, you get so anxious you close your eyesso you can’t see what happens next and then you hear that little `cluc´, when the ball goes into the hole.
