DISMINUCION DE LA TENSION ARTERIAL ELEVADA CON LACHESIS MUTA 200 CH.EN EL SERVICIO DE URGENCIAS DEL HOSPITAL NACIONAL HOMEOPATICO

Resumen:
Este estudio se efectuó en el servicio de urgencias del Hospital Nacional Homeopático durante el primer semestre de1994 para comprobar la eficacia de la terapéutica homeopática en la reducción de la tensión arterial sistémica elevada. Se seleccionaron aleatoriamente 58 enfermos, de ambos sexos, mayores de 15 años, con cifras diastólicas mayores de 95 mm de Hg; 30 casos correspondieron al grupo tratado con el medicamento homeopático Lachesis muta 200 cH, el resto de los pacientes constituyó el grupo control(placebo). Este medicamento se seleccionó por repertorización computarizada. Se administraron un máximo de 4 dosis en método plus del medicamento y del placebo cada 15 min., y se tomaron con baumanómetro mercurial las cifras tensionales inicial y final en ambos brazos en posición sedente, siempre por el mismo observador y con el mismo instrumento. Se calculó el promedio de la cifras sistólica ydiastólica de cada paciente antes y después del tratamiento, considerándose el tratamiento como exitoso cuando se obtuvo una disminución del 10% o más en la cifra final, lo que representó disminución de la T.A. en 25 de los 30 casos tratados (83.33%) por sólo 2 de los 28 pacientes del grupo control (7.14%). Este resultado fue estadísticamente favorable para el grupo tratado con (p < 0.001). El enfoqueutilizado en este estudio posiblemente sea útil en otras condiciones agudas con parámetros de fácil medición.

ABSTRACT

REDUCTION OF HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE WITH LACHESIS MUTA 200 cH IN THE EMERGENCY WARD OF THE NATIONAL HOMŒOPHATIC HOSPITAL.
This study took place at the emergency ward of TheNational Homeopathic Hospital of Mexico City during the first semester of 1994, to prove the efficiency of the homœopathic treatment in reducing systemic high blood pressure. The sample was aleatory, 58 patients, both sexes, older than 15 years of age, with diastolic measurement of 95 mmHg; 30 patients were placed in the group treated with homœopathic remedy Lachesis muta 200 cH, the rest of thepatients represented the control group, treated with placebo. This homœopathic medicine was selected by computerized repertorization. They were administrated a maximum of 4 doses in the plus method of this medication and of the placebo, each 15 minutes; their blood pressure was registered with a mercurial baumanometer, in both arms, on a sitting position, always by the same observer and with the sameinstrument, The average systolic and diastolic ciphers of each patient before and after the treatment were registered, taking into consideration the treatment as a success when there was a reduction of 10% or more of the final cipher. Twenty five of the 30 cases treated had a 10% or more reduction of their blood pressure (83.33%) and only 2 of twenty eight patients in the control group (7.14%). Thisresult was statistically favorable for the treated group (p < 0.001). The method used in this study might be helpful in other acute conditions that have easy parameters of measurement.
