Habitualmente seentiende disortografía como una mala transcripción del código escrito de una forma inexacta, no se tiene bien adquirida la asociación entre el código escrito, las normas ortográficas y la escritura de palabras.

No debemos asociarlo con el nivel mental, ni trastornos ni con los métodos de enseñanza.

Podemos encontrarlo ligado a la dislexia, digrafía, pero debemos de entenderlo como algo aparte.* Características
