3.1 DISTRIBUCION DE VELOCIDADES EN FLUJO TURBULENTO
Según (Niño, 2007, pg. 1-12), el flujo turbulento no sigue la ley de viscosidad de newton, en esteflujo el avance de las partículas del fluido es irregular existiendo intercambio de posiciones aparentemente al azar. La velocidad media de las partículas se ve afectada por fluctuaciones de velocidad. En la figura 3.1, se indica la variación de la velocidad con el tiempo, la cual está compuesta de una magnitud promediada en el tiempo más una fluctuación de velocidad, u=U(x,y,z) + u’(x,y,z,t)....
