The process of peace dialogs does not mean peace in Colombia
Peace dialogs are today an illusion to the Colombian people, but the real situation inside the country is not a pure concept.Peace dialogs are being carried out, but it does not mean that we are in peace because war is latent in our country because every day we see on television all the dead by FARC. Many failures in thepast make us more pessimistic than optimistic regardless of the outcome. We can see also how the president and government are working like if nothing was happening inside our country; in manytowns we see how people, policeman and soldiers are losing life. Media shows us the good face of the reality because peace dialogs are being supported by greatest and potential nations in theworld; otherwise, if media shows the reality, maybe those nations would cease of support us.
FARC has been an organization which has fought during 48 years and never has achieved to beatgovernment nor promote the revolution and many governments have tried to destroyed it but have failed too. So, there are no reasons for peace if FARC has been a strong and violent organization whichbecause of their cruel facts is not wrong to think that they are happy making death and being against peace. Government has fight the FARC, responding to attacks and killing the most importantrepresentatives of that organization. While they are talking, we are living the effects of war.
People in Colombia think that as previous attempts of governments the actual government willfail and the consequences of this are more bombings, kidnappings, and assassinations as has always been and today it is; all this happens while the dialogs are taking place, there is not solutionyet. We don’t know when there will be a solution nor what will be the solution; we are living the same war in the same way until the success of the peace dialogs are reality or are a failure.
