Affirmative, negative and interrogative (uncountable and plural nouns)
Ex: I’ve got a lot of books. I haven’t got a lot of sugar. Have you got a lot of cds?

Interrogative and negative (uncountable nouns)
Examples: How much milk is there? There isn’t much.


Affirmative, interrogative and negative (plural nouns).
Examples: I have manyapples. How many spoons are there? There aren’t many.

Affirmative (uncountable and plural) It is also used in questions for offers and requests. Examples: I want some honey. I have some oranges.
Would you like some sugar in your coffee? Can I drink some water?

Interrogative and negative (uncountable and plural)
Examples: Have you got anywine? No, I haven’t got any.
Has she got any potatoes? No, she hasn´t got any.

Countable nouns are those which can be counted and they have a plural form:
Ex: banana-bananas
Uncountable nouns can´t be counted and are alwaysused in the singular:
Ex: tea, coffee.sugar, flour, sand, water

Ex: A packet of sugar
A can of coke
