Chemical reactions are process that leads to the transformation of one set of chemical substances to another. Classically, chemical reactions encompass changes thatstrictly involve the motion of electrons in the forming and breaking of chemical bonds between atoms.
Chemical equations are the symbolic representation of a chemical reaction wherethe reactant entities are given on the left hand side and the product entities on the right hand side.
* To write a word equation, write the names of the reactants to the left of the arrow separated by plus signs;write the names of the products to the right of the arrow, also separated by plus signs.

Decomposition reaction is a chemical change in which a single compound breaks down into two ormore simpler products. Decomposition involve only one reactant and two or more products. And the product can be any combination of elements and compounds.
