My pedagogical practice
Putting in practice knowledge is a wonderful experience. it provides the chance to compare , doubt , and experimenttheoretical knowledge on pedagogies in schools setting and gain experience in this field of education .During my practices I could enjoy different opportunities like exploring the factors that take place inan English class and learn from my guide teachers many things that help to be an excellent educator. I developed my pedagogical practice at Institución educativa liceo Guillermo Valencia locatedin diagonal 21 trav 1 batallón Santader neighborhood. The groups were made up by 20 and 26 students among the ages of 10 and 13 years old, most of them boys. The classes took place on Thursday , from 7o´ clock am to 9 o´ clock before the first break, and Fridays from 10:30 a.m to 12:oo p.m The school is small, has few but large rooms, a small play ground and a scholar dining room. My mentorteacher was Bernardo Guerrero.

Their English level was very low. At the first time it was difficult because English is not their mother tongue and it is a new thing for them. They had never beenreceived an English class then the standards are very high for their level, so the teacher gave me topics and started planning my classes according to standards of grade 1 to 3 because they did not knowanything about English. That week made me realized that I had to be more careful when planning my classes, because they were restless and thus I had to catch their attention to develop a successfulclass.

When referring to methodology, I used grammar translation method and direct method. At the time of explaining grammar structures, giving they instructions, making the classroom atmosphere...
