1979: ALSTHOM Atlantique and NEYRPIC sign contractfor the execution and commissioning of the Charcani V Hydro Power Plant, of ELECTRO SUR ESTE SA, from the city of Arequipa. 1998: Opening of the first plant and offices of Gec Alsthom Equipos yServicios S.A. in the district of Ate Vitarte. 1998: Change of corporate name from Gec Alsthom Equipos y Servicios S.A. to Alsthom Energia Equipos y Servicios S.A. 1999: Establishment of Alstom IndustriaS.A.
