DR JEKYLL AND MR HYDETwo friends were walking through the streets of London, and one of the men tells a story about a door. He tells a man collided with a girl, her parents told the man who would not receive anything if he gave them one hundred pounds.
He accepted. His name was Hyde, Utterson and wanted to know because in Jekyll's will, put, that if he disappeared all the money would go to Hyde.
A year later,Hyde, killed a man.
They found an envelope with the name and address of Utterson. He was very scared, went to see Jekyll.
Utterson received two letters with the same script, was very scared. Lanton was very ill and gave him a letter but could not read the letter, if not die Jekyll.
Poole was afraid because Jekyll, never left the laboratory.
Utterson, opened the door and saw Hyde, UttersonJekyll's will read it and said that if he disappeared, the money would be for Utterson. He read the letter from Lanyon and followed instructions.

1. What frightening sight did Mr Enfield see?
He saw a man jumped over the girl when she screamed.
2. What was strange about the cheque for ninety pounds?
The cheque ofninety pounds was strange because the signature wasn’t of the man that gave the cheque.
3. In Mr Enfield’s opinion, somebody lived in the building. Why did he think this?
Because the windows are always shut but they’re clean, and smoke generally comes out of the chimney.
4. What description did Mr Enfield give of the man?
He’s small ans he’s got dark hair.
CHAPTER 2
1.What is the connection between the man in chapter 1 and Dr Jekyll’s will?
That Jekyll in his will side tha if he disappear, all his money out of Hyde.
2. Why did Mr Utterson begin to watch the building with the old door?
Because he wanted Mr. Hyde.
3. Where did Dr Jekyll live?
On the other side of the courtyard.
4. In Mr Utterson’s opinion, what did Hyde want to do and why?Utterson thought, that Hyde wanted to do something wrong to Jekyll, to inherit his money.
5. How did Dr Jekyll react when Utterson mentioned Hyde’s name?
He didn’t to talk about Mr. Hyde.

1. What crime did de maid see from her window?
She saw a person that started to hit the other person.
2. Why did the police go to Mr Utterson?
Because they found aenvelope with name and adress of Mr. Utterson.
3. How was Dr Jekyll connected to the crime?
Because the weapon was from Jekyll.
4. How did the inspector know that Hyde was the murder of Sir Danvers Carew?
Because, the other part of the cane was in Hyde’s house.
CHAPTER 4
1. Where was Dr Jekyll when Mr Utterson visited him and how did he look?
He was in hisroom, and he was very ill.
2. What did Dr Jekyll give Mr Utterson?
He gave mr utterson a letter with a strange handwriting.
3. Why did Mr Utterson invite Guest to come to his house?
Because he knew things about hardwritings.
4. Why was Mr Utterson worried and shocked after Guest read the letter and the note?
Because the two letters have the same hardwriting.
CHAPTER 51. How did Dr Jekyll change after Hyde disappeared? Give three examples.
He started inviting his friends to his house again, gave a lot of money to the poor and became very religious.
2. What shocked Utterson when he went to visit Dr Lanyon?
For his appearance.
