Have people told you that you´re going to the place you have always dreamt of? What was you´re reaction? Did you get excited? Well, when my mom told me I was going to the place I havebeen dreaming to go all my life, I almost fainted because of the excitement.
The day before I knew I was going to New York I was so disappointed because I was looking for flights to go to New York onthe summer and they were all sold the day I wanted to go. When I asked my mom if we could go another day she told me no. I thought she got mad so I didn´t insist her and I just when to cry to bybedroom. Hours later, traveling company sent me an email telling me that they had found a flight for two people to New York the days I wanted to go which were from June 8 to June 15. When I went to mymom´s bathroom and found her I told her, “Mom, the traveling company just found us some tickets to New York.” “I can´t go darling because of my work, sorry,” my mom said. I just told her “What?” and turnedaround and started running to my bedroom. I was so mad because my mom had promised me that she was going to take me the day I wanted because that was going to be my birthday gift. I spent the wholeafternoon lying in the bed thinking why my mom was such a liar.
The next day I woke up and everything was normal. My mom didn´t mention anything to me during the breakfast. She just sat therequietly eating her cereal. After she ended eating her breakfast, she stood up and told me she was going to work. When she was gone, I went to my bedroom, grabbed my laptop, and started looking for flightsthat were during my moms work vacations. I didn´t find anything so I got frustrated and started crying. I thought I just lost the opportunity to go to the place I have always wanted to go until myphone rang and it was my mother. “Hello mom,” I said. “Hi Sofi, get prepared because in 5 minutes Ill pick you up because were going to your grandmas house,” my mother said. “Okay, bye,” I replied....
