Fool's Garden is a German pop band formed in 1991 by Peter the voice Freudenthaler, Volker Hinkel on guitar, bass Thomas Mangold, keyboardist Roland Röhl and Ralf and Wochele on drums. They debutedin 1993 with the album Once In A Blue Moon, two years later Fool's Garden issued Dish of the Day, scoring a massive in Europe and Asia with the single "Lemon Tree."
Go And Ask Peggy For ThePrincipal Thing, was published in 1997, being followed by three more albums in 2000, 2003 and 2005. In 2003 three members left the band and were replaced by Dirk Blümlein bass, Claus Müller on drums andGabriel Holz second guitar, and decided to rename the band Fools Garden. In mid-2007, Gabriel left the band Holz.

The band has taken the habit of covering rock 'n' roll classicsduring live performances (The Beatles' Ticket to Ride or The Who's My Generation). Fools Garden's interest in British music is so big that cover versions of The Beatles's songs Cry Baby Cry and MarthaMy Dear can be found on their studio albums.
