OBJETIVOS.
* Aplicación de equilibrios ácido-base para conocer el contenido de CO3 y HCO3 (alcalinidad) en aguas potables y residuales.

* Introducir el concepto de formación y estabilidad decomplejos e ilustrar la aplicación analítica de este concepto en la determinación de concentraciones de calcio y magnesio (dureza del agua).

INTRODUCCIÓN.
Dureza: capacidad del agua para precipitar jabones. Es debida principalmente a la presencia de Ca++ y Mg++. Relación entre dureza, alcalinidad, pH y tendencia a la precipitación de Ca CO3.
Dureza total: concentración de Ca2+ y Mg 2+ por 50/pesoequivalente (peso atómico/valencia)
Dureza de carbonato concentración de bicarbonato (HCO3-) por 50/ peso equivalente
