Whereas, pursuant to subsection 164(3) of the Customs Act * , a copy of proposed Regulations respecting duty free shops ,substantially in the form annexed hereto, was published in the Canada Gazette Part I on April 26, 1986 and a reasonable opportunity was thereby afforded to interested persons to make representations to the Minister of National Revenue with respect thereto; Considerando que, de conformidad con el inciso 164 (3) de la Ley de Aduanas * , una copia de los Reglamentos propuestos respetando las tiendas libresde impuestos, sustancialmente en la forma adjunta, se publicó en la Gaceta del Canadá, la parte que el 26 de abril de 1986 y razonable era una oportunidad concedidas a las personas interesadas a presentar observaciones a los ingresos Ministro de Nacional con respecto a la misma;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of NationalRevenue, pursuant to section 30, subsection 37(1), paragraphs 164(1)( i ) and ( j ) and section 166 of the Customs Act * , is pleased hereby to make the annexed Regulations respecting duty free shops , effective on the day that section 30, subsection 37(1), paragraphs 164(1)( i ) and ( j ) and section 166 of the Customs Act come into force. Por lo tanto, Su Excelencia el Gobernador General en el Consejo,por recomendación del Ministro de Hacienda, de conformidad con el artículo 30, inciso 37 (1), apartados 164 (1) (i) y (j) y el artículo 166 de la Ley de Aduanas * , se complace por este medio para hacer que el anexo se reglamenta el libre tiendas libres de impuestos, en vigor el día que el artículo 30, inciso 37 (1), apartados 164 (1) (i) y (j) y el artículo 166 de la Ley de Aduanas entrará en lafuerza.

Regulations Respecting Duty Free Shops Reglamento sobre Tiendas Duty Free

SHORT TITLE TITULO CORTO
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Duty Free Shop Regulations . 1. El presente Reglamento podrá ser citado como el Duty Free Shop Reglamento.

“Act” means the Customs Act ; ( Loi ) "Ley" significa la Ley de Aduanas; (Loi)

“applicant” means a person who applies for a licence; ( demandeur ) "Solicitante" significa una persona que solicite una licencia; (demandeur)

“beer” means beer or malt liquor as defined in section 4 of the Excise Act ; ( bière ) "Cerveza" significa cerveza o licor de malta como se define en la sección 4de la Ley de Impuestos Especiales, (bière)

“border crossing point” means a place on the international border between Canada and the United States at which there is a customs office; ( poste frontalier ) "Paso fronterizo": un lugar en la frontera internacional entre Canadá y los Estados Unidos en el que hay una oficina de aduana; (frontalier poste)

“chief officer of customs” , with respect toa duty free shop or a proposed duty free shop, means the manager of the customs office or customs offices that serve the area in which the duty free shop is located or is proposed to be located; ( agent en chef des douanes ) "Director general de aduanas", con respecto a una tienda libre de impuestos o una tienda libre de impuestos propuestos, significa que el gestor de la aduana o aduanas quesirven a la zona en la que se encuentra libre de la tienda del derecho o que se prevé que se encuentra; (agente en chef des douanes)
