RESUMEN
Se presentan los resultados de la investigación de la Geohistoria del barrio Ancón de la ciudad de santa marta, actualmente no existe pero hadejado un legado cultural e histórico muy significativo a la sociedad samaria entre los aportes se encuentran la procesión marítima de la virgen del Carmen, tradición que aún sigue vigente en nuestrosdías. En esta investigación se encuentran plasmados como se dio el origen de este, proceso de poblamiento, infraestructura, aporte socioeconómico, festividades más importantes y por último lospersonajes más representativos del barrio ancón. La elaboración de esta investigación fue posible a través de entrevistas, encuestas, fotos, grabaciones, entre otros. Valiosas herramientas para laelaboración de nuestro informe lo que nos permitió conocer la importancia de la geohistoria en un barrio.

ABSTRACT
The result of theinvestigation of the neighborhood Geohistory Ancon district of the city of Santa Marta are presented, does not currently exist but has made a significant cultural and historical legacy to society Samariacontributions are among the maritime procession of the Virgin of Carmen, a tradition that is still alive today. In this research are embodied as the origin of this, the process of settlement,infrastructure, major festivals and finally the most representative of the neighborhood gave ancon. The evidence for developing this project was obtained through interviews, surveys, photos, recordings, andmore.
Valuable tools for the development of our research which allowed us to know the importance of geo-history in a neighborhood.
